Saturday, November 4 and Sunday, November 5, 2023 – ‘Evaporate’ was an aqueous-themed performance art festival inspired by the exhibition and the unique history and architecture of the Waterworks Museum.
‘Evaporate’ featured artists from Performance Art Bergen in Norway and Boston’s own Mobius Artist Group.

Organized by Mobius member Heather Kapplow, the performances activated the museum’s exhibition halls, grounds, and the nearby reservoir, flowing through these spaces in a quick rush, as the city’s water once flowed through these same spaces, and then dissipating just as quickly.
